We asked Emily Weeks to make an animated music video for this track based on her earlier work (e.g. her animated short “Sweater Wolf” @ https://vimeo.com/23228829, made during her time with the California Institute of the Arts). We love the distinct drawing style and her ability to tell a story using her animation skills, we hope you’ll enjoy this music video for “On My Own”, which is tightly linked to the meaning of the song.

This is the fourth and last video coming from the album “Introspection ~ Extrospection”, we’ll now be focusing fully at creating new material… Enjoy ;)!

We got an update from artist Emily Weeks, who’s working on an animated music video for the HMMA-nominated song “On My Own” (listen to the track on the soundcloud player below).

Currently she’s progressing to animated the full length of the song with her own distinct of animating/drawing. The story of the movie will revolve around a female character/shape; who is like a ghost lost in memories of things that once were, unable to move past her own pain, wandering in the forest and the mist, the river a metaphor for life, death, and change. Emily Weeks is currently making sketches, sending them to us to provide feedback etc.. Here are some of them for you to “preview”.
