We make music, but we also love music by a lot of others. Everything that touches, has emotion, from every genre, from every corner of the world is welcome…
Anchor Up by Őszibrarack takes our interest due to the mix of guitars, electronica and beautiful vocals. Its monotonous drive and slow build up fitting perfectly with the lyrics, which you can read below.
Őszibarack is a popular Polish electronic/pop band, founded in 2003 in Wrocław. The band name means peach in Hungarian. It was founded in Wrocław by composer and producer Agim Dżeljilji, bassist Tomasz Dogiel, vocalist Patrycja Hefczyńska and drummer Marcin Drewnik. Their debut album Moshi Moshi was released in 2004 and followed by Plim Plum Plam, released on 25 April 2008. Their most recent release upon writing is 12 released in 2013. Songs that definitely also deserve your attention are Zibraphone, The Tide (feat. Chmara), Fly and Surfin Safari in my honest opinion.
Enjoy Őszibarack, and check subscribe to our playlist “Sad Vibes | Indie, Pop, Chill“ playlist, where we collect all kind of songs like “Anchor Up” that have that same kind of effect on us as described above.
Lyrics “Anchor Up by Őszibrarack”
The sea inside me
Time passes by but
I still feel like 13 as a child
Dad buy me a nickel bike
I don’t want to get married
Anchor up
Anchor up
Anchor up
Anchor up
Anchor up
Anchor up, I don’t fancy
Disco dances
Snow-white dress
Bride’s veil
I’ll ride around the world
Anchor up
I’ll ride around the world
Anchor up
I’ll ride around the world
Anchor up
I’ll ride around the world
Anchor up
